Inspired by the original orchestration composed by Georg Friedrich Haendel to accompany the cortege of George 1er (1714 -1730) on the Thames. The immersive installation puts forward the timelessness of this element, its various shapes and its cycle. By putting the aquatic element in the center of the work, the spectator is invited to follow nature’s influence on the composer's notes.
The visuals follow the elements and bodies of water encountered by Haendel during his lifetime. They include visuals of the Tibre, the Arno, the Thames, the Salle, the canals of Venice but also the views encountered by Haendel on his grand tour and micro details of the element itself and its endless cycle.
